Fraser Laxa vs Sancho Acas

Boxing Daily Report from the Batangas Gym promoted show at Alejandro Monica Gym, Quezon City,  taking place on 07/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Fraser Laxa (0 - 0) who hails from Taguig, Philippines and Sancho Acas(4 - 1) from Taguig, Philippines.  Both Laxa and Acas weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Macalinaw, and the three ringside judges are Edmundo Cepeda, Wayne Linsangan and Rob Picado.  

Round 1: 

Laxa sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with an overhand right.  
Laxa connects with an overhand left.  
Laxa steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Acas gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Laxa ties up his opponent.  Laxa leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Acas advances into close range and manouvers Laxa onto the ropes.  Acas pivots to the side of his opponent.  Acas tries to land a right hook, but Laxa parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Laxa connects with a cross.  
Acas gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Laxa is on target with a firm right hook.  
Laxa is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Laxa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Laxa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Laxa throws an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Laxa steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Laxa lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Acas manages to force Laxa into the red corner.  Laxa lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Laxa switches the action to the outside.  Laxa stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Acas attempts to land a jab, but Laxa blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Acas pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Acas walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Laxa lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Acas sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Acas tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Laxa switches the action to the outside and connects with a sharp cross.  
Laxa attempts to land an overhand left, but Acas blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Acas pivots to the right of his opponent.  Acas throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.

Laxa steps away from his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a solid cross.  
Laxa steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Laxa feints a left hook, and then lands a stiff jab.

Acas manouvers Laxa onto the ropes.  Acas hits home with a right uppercut.  
Acas is looking to close the distance.  Laxa is on target with a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Acas dabs at his face checking for damage.  Acas has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
