Leonardo Dario vs Joaquin Sotomayor

Boxing Daily Report from the Bani Promotions promoted show at Barranquilla Bosquez, Barranquilla,  taking place on 14/03/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leonardo Dario (7 - 0) who hails from Merlo, Argentina and Joaquin Sotomayor(3 - 3) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Both Dario and Sotomayor weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alfonso Rayos, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Aurelio, Porfio Camarena and Rio Aristizabal.  

Round 1: 

Dario lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Dario clinches his opponent.  Dario pushes his forearm into Sotomayor's face.  The ref breaks Dario's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Dario walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Dario lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.
