Vladan Klinger vs HorymÝr Pivec

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Elektrėnai Ice Palace, Vilnius,  taking place on 27/03/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vladan Klinger (14(8) - 0) who hails from Brno, Czech Republic and HorymÝr Pivec(2 - 14(2) - 2) from Bratislava, Slovakia.  Klinger weighed in at 153 pounds and 10 ounces, while Pivec weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rajmund Boron, and the three ringside judges are Rajmund Boron, Makary Skiba and Gabrysz Koralewski.  

Round 1: 

Klinger pivots to the left of his opponent.  Pivec throws a left hook, but Klinger clinches his opponent.  Klinger is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Klinger's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Klinger feints a cross, but Pivec does not fall for it and responds with a left uppercut to Klinger's liver.

Pivec is on target with a left hook.  Klinger ties up his opponent.  Pivec is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Klinger to stop holding.  
Klinger lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Pivec throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Klinger lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Pivec wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Klinger dabs at his face checking for damage.

He then lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND PIVEC IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Pivec recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
