Lee Slatter vs Romain Fignon

Boxing Daily Report from the FreeSmokeJr816 promoted show at Karibe Convention Center, Petionville,  taking place on 22/03/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTVC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lee Slatter (18 - 0) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Romain Fignon(10 - 0) from Port-au-Prince, Haiti.  Both Slatter and Fignon weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Coyne Duchamp, and the three ringside judges are Romain Lizarazu, Guy Dewaere and Canaan Beaudoin.  

Round 1: 

Fignon pivots to the left of his opponent.  Fignon throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Slatter walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Slatter tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.
