Montego Mantilla vs Angel Islas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at San Jose Mallen, San Jose,  taking place on 13/02/2027:

Clearly AI Costa Rica-San Jose have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Costa Rica-San Jose Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montego Mantilla (2 - 2 - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Angel Islas(9 - 6) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Both Mantilla and Islas weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xabat Velez, and the three ringside judges are Baltasar Cecilio, Hernan Lovato and Macario Gabaldon.
