Paul Ngassi vs Koos Stander

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 17/04/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paul Ngassi (15(4) - 0) who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and Koos Stander(16(3) - 5) from Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  Ngassi weighed in at 122 pounds, while Stander weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jackson Mnyamane, and the three ringside judges are Luvolwethu Khumalo, Mzikayise Tlolane and Isaac Chohan.
