Paul Matui vs Jasper Lekimeju

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Uhuru Basketball Court, Nairobi,  taking place on 15/03/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nairobi Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Matui (9 - 7 - 4) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Jasper Lekimeju(14 - 7 - 4) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Matui and Lekimeju weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Birdi, and the three ringside judges are Luister Mutahi, Sam Waiyaki and Billy Tumbo.
