Jacob Evens vs Isaac Connolly

Boxing Daily Report from the United Boxing promoted show at Leeds Utd FC Suite, Leeds,  taking place on 15/03/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jacob Evens (20(1) - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Carlisle, UK and Isaac Connolly(4 - 12 - 4) from Hull, UK.  Both Evens and Connolly weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Torrens, and the three ringside judges are Robert Couper, Rob Marceau and Chris Llywelyn.  

Round 1: 

Evens lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Connolly advances into close range and throws a right hook, but Evens clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
