Santiago Barreras vs Rodrigo Alcon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at Gimnasio Las Palma, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 16/03/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Central American Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Barreras (16 - 8(3) - 1) who hails from Choloma, Honduras and Rodrigo Alcon(7 - 3) from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  Both Barreras and Alcon weighed in at 200 pounds.
