Joaquin Briones vs Ponce Vayo

Boxing Daily Report from the Acheampong Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Vayo, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 16/03/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Dominican Republic Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joaquin Briones (16 - 6(2) - 1) who hails from San Felipe de Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and Ponce Vayo(18 - 2) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Briones weighed in at 111 pounds And 13 ounces, while Vayo weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reynaldo Arias, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Joaquin, Diego Roberto and Olindo Cruzado.
