Leighton Newman vs Jonathan Evanson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Alberta promoted show at Gregor Condie Gym, Calgary,  taking place on 16/03/2027:

Clearly AI Canada-Alberta have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leighton Newman (10 - 3 - 1) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Jonathan Evanson(6 - 15 - 3) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Newman and Evanson weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clint Craig, and the three ringside judges are Theo Kimmons, Charlie Ainsley and Zachary Shillinglaw.  

Round 1: 

Newman switches the action to the outside and lands a spiteful jab.
