Montego Matas vs Neper Pozo

Boxing Daily Report from the Mwase Promotions promoted show at Sancho Calleja Gym, San Bernardo,  taking place on 14/03/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Chile-Santiago Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montego Matas (15 - 6) who hails from Maipu, Chile and Neper Pozo(9 - 11 - 3) from Maipu, Chile.  Matas weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Pozo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paco Amaro, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Estopinal, Santiago Banuelos and Agapetus Salcedo.  

Round 1: 

Pozo steps away from his opponent.  Matas hits home with a cross.  
Matas is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.
