Xalvador Lacayo vs Santiago Varon

Boxing Daily Report from the Yalley Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Enriquez, Guayaquil,  taking place on 17/03/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ecuador Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xalvador Lacayo (16(3) - 4) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Santiago Varon(18(5) - 4(4)) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Lacayo and Varon weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Chavana, and the three ringside judges are Felippe Noa, Juan Hernandez and Vicente Tamez.
