Ryuu Maekawa vs Jiro Kuse

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Ninja Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 27/03/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryuu Maekawa (6 - 0) who hails from Amagasaki, Japan and Jiro Kuse(4 - 4 - 1 - 1(NC)) from Osaka, Japan.  Maekawa weighed in at 175 pounds, while Kuse weighed in at 174 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kaede Tsuchida, and the three ringside judges are Hisoka Yamamoto, Aki Fujii and Yasushi Shishido.  

Round 1: 

Maekawa closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Kuse's ribs.  Maekawa ties up his opponent.  Maekawa pushes his forearm into Kuse's face.  The referee warns Maekawa and breaks the clinch.
