Nicholas Muthoni vs Saad Zamani

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kiambu promoted show at Quadrees Magwanga Gym, Kikuyu,  taking place on 21/02/2027:

Clearly AI Kenya-Kiambu have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Kiambu Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicholas Muthoni (3 - 8) who hails from Ruiru, Kenya and Saad Zamani(3 - 4 - 2) from Ruiru, Kenya.  Muthoni weighed in at 147 pounds, while Zamani weighed in at 146 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Icharia, and the three ringside judges are Haider Ben, Jay Karanja and Amon Lai.

Muthoni steps to the outside.  Muthoni quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Muthoni walks Zamani into the corner.  Muthoni sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Zamani dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Zamani cuts off the ring, trapping Muthoni in the blue corner.  Zamani pivots to the right of his opponent and throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Muthoni time to recover.
