Felix Sterett vs Justin Moutray

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Shreyas Gym, Boston,  taking place on 15/03/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Felix Sterett (2(1) - 1) who hails from Chula Vista, USA and Justin Moutray(5 - 7 - 2) from Mobile, USA.  Both Sterett and Moutray weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Cooper, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Hier, Charles Keath and Nathan Burt.  

Round 1: 

Sterett is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Sterett feints a cross, tricking Moutray into throwing a right hook counter.  Sterett springs the trap, countering with  a right hook.  
Sterett finds the target with a jab.  
Sterett steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Sterett throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sterett lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Moutray pivots to the left of his opponent.  Sterett hits home with a firm cross.  
Sterett steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Sterett feints a right hook, but Moutray is not fooled and is on target with a left hook.  
Sterett snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  Sterett tries to land a cross, but Moutray blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Sterett lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Moutray quickly recovers. 
Sterett feints a jab and triggers a left hook counter from Moutray.  Sterett springs the trap and counters with  a stinging right hook.  
Moutray cuts off the ring, trapping Sterett in a corner.  Moutray is starting to lose his temper here.   He steps inside, but then strikes Sterett with a blatant low blow!  The ref halts the action and sends Sterett to the neutral corner.    He has a stern word with Moutray and warns that a point will be deducted if he continues to foul.

Sterett SLAMS a FIERCE cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE MOUTRAY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Sterett knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Sterett lands a right hook, cross and a left hook to his opponents head, AND MOUTRAY IS DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Sterett!
