Ben Inzikuru vs Dom Cammon

Boxing Daily Report from the Melvin Grayshock Promotions promoted show at Jack Meyrick Gym, San Jose,  taking place on 22/03/2027:

Clearly Melvin Grayshock Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ben Inzikuru (7(5) - 0) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Dom Cammon(7 - 2) from Louisville, USA.  Inzikuru weighed in at 244 pounds And 4 ounces, while Cammon weighed in at 254 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Michael Thomason, and the three ringside judges are David Madoc, Will Ducat and Josh Blancas.  

Round 1: 

Inzikuru lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Inzikuru closes the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Inzikuru advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Cammon stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Inzikuru lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Inzikuru closes the distance and digs in a right hook to Cammon's ribs.

Inzikuru walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Inzikuru lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

Inzikuru is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Inzikuru holds on to his opponent.  Inzikuru pushes his forearm into Cammon's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Inzikuru about fouling.  
Cammon tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
Inzikuru gets on the inside and drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  Inzikuru holds on to his opponent.  Inzikuru is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Inzikuru DETONATES a hurtful right uppercut on his opponents face.  CAMMON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Inzikuru sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Inzikuru lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head, AND DOWN GOES CAMMON!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Cammon now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Inzikuru lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Inzikuru hits home with a right hook.  Inzikuru holds on to his opponent.  Inzikuru leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Inzikuru throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Inzikuru manages to force Cammon into a corner.  Inzikuru lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Inzikuru lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Inzikuru dabs at his face checking for damage.

Cammon steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Inzikuru dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.

Cammon could be stopped here, if Inzikuru can find the right shot!  Inzikuru lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND CAMMON IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Cammon cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Inzikuru!
