Juan Borbon vs Rodrigo Prisco

Boxing Daily Report from the Rumfa Promotions promoted show at Jeraldo De la Fuente Gym, Cali,  taking place on 26/03/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Borbon (8(6) - 0) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Rodrigo Prisco(0 - 6 - 1) from Bogota, Colombia.  Both Borbon and Prisco weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Grimaldo, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Toral, Eduardo Toscano and Angel Miguel.  

Round 1: 

Borbon is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Borbon ties up his opponent.  Borbon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Borbon is on target with a solid right hook.  Prisco wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Borbon dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Borbon is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Borbon lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Borbon hits home with a sharp left hook.  Borbon clinches his opponent.  Borbon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Borbon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Borbon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Borbon lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  Borbon ties up his opponent.  Borbon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Borbon throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Borbon.  
Borbon digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Borbon ties up his opponent.  Borbon uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Prisco's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Prisco dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Prisco.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Borbon steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.

Borbon stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Borbon DETONATES a big right hook on his opponents face.  PRISCO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  It looks like Prisco has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Borbon is on target with a right hook.  Borbon ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Borbon pushes his forearm into Prisco's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Borbon to stop fouling.  
Prisco advances into close range.  Prisco quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Borbon lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING PRISCO TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Prisco forces Borbon to retreat onto the ropes.  Borbon is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Borbon lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND PRISCO IS DOWN!  The ref does not give Prisco the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Borbon!
