Akil Narine vs Haaris Bacchus

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata,  taking place on 03/04/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Akil Narine (8 - 2) who hails from Lucknow, India and Haaris Bacchus(14 - 7 - 2) from New Delhi, India.  Narine weighed in at 114 pounds and 8 ounces, while Bacchus weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Praveen Rao, and the three ringside judges are Hemant Dyal, Haaris Haik and Gurudas Tewari.
