Rabiu Akande vs Bature Chukunyere

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Lagos State promoted show at Nicholas Salihu Gym, Lagos,  taking place on 24/02/2027:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Lagos State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Lagos State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rabiu Akande (8 - 7(1) - 4) who hails from Lagos, Nigeria and Bature Chukunyere(9 - 6 - 4) from Lagos, Nigeria.  Akande weighed in at 147 pounds, while Chukunyere weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Achebe, and the three ringside judges are Segun Otaimaga, Theophilus Oparaku and Tunde Ikechukwu.
