Amer Burki vs Saad Zia

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Johor promoted show at Johor Bahru Lye, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 24/03/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Malaysia-Johor Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amer Burki (12 - 9 - 3) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Saad Zia(14 - 6 - 3) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Burki weighed in at 147 pounds, while Zia weighed in at 146 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Khalid Lodhi, and the three ringside judges are Saad Hassan, Azam Hamdan and Shayan Hossain.

Burki gets on the inside and walks Zia into the corner.  Zia lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Zia is on target with a jab to Burki's body.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Burki's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Zia's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Zia steps inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Burki dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Burki steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Zia lands a right hook.  
Zia is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  As Burki tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Zia has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Zia pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Burki sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Burki tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Zia is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Burki feints a left, and then hits home with a cross.
