Ian Houp vs Charles Glover

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Festival Hall, Melbourne,  taking place on 06/03/2027:

Clearly Hennessy Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ian Houp (4(1) - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Charles Glover(3 - 6 - 6) from Perth, Australia.  Houp weighed in at 147 pounds, while Glover weighed in at 146 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dale Masoero, and the three ringside judges are Michael Pac, Ricky Barfoot and Leighton McPherson.

Houp lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Houp holds on to his opponent.  Houp pushes his forearm into Glover's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Houp.  
Houp lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Houp attempts to land a left hook, but Glover blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Houp connects with a firm right hook.  
Houp is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut.  Houp holds on to his opponent.  Houp is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Houp about fouling.

Houp closes the distance and drives a left hook into Glover's body.

Glover pivots to the left of his opponent.  Glover throws a left hook, but Houp holds on to his opponent.  Houp tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Glover behind the head. 
Houp closes the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Houp drives a left hook into Glover's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Glover dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Houp lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Glover hits home with a right hook.  
Houp digs in a right hook to Glover's body.  Houp ties up his opponent.  Houp is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Houp to stop fouling.  Houp throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Houp lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Houp advances into close range and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Houp is on target with a left uppercut to Glover's liver.
