Kai Maddex vs William Calvert

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Octagon Centre, Sheffield,  taking place on 17/03/2027:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Kai Maddex (1 - 0) who hails from Leicester, UK and William Calvert(0 - 2 - 1) from Carlisle, UK.  Maddex weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Calvert weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Llewellyn, and the three ringside judges are Matt McFee, Mel Loch and Paul Elliot.
