Usi Ankrah vs Colin Dewornu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Darko, Kumasi,  taking place on 30/03/2027:

Clearly AI Ghana-Ashanti have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Usi Ankrah (5 - 9 - 3) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Colin Dewornu(3 - 10 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Ankrah and Dewornu weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Louis Nkrumah, and the three ringside judges are Scott Acquah, Bob Antwi and Uland Adade.  

Round 1: 

Dewornu pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Ankrah closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Ankrah cuts off the ring, trapping Dewornu on the ropes.  Dewornu lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Dewornu sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  As Dewornu tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ankrah dabs at his face checking for damage.
