Cong Tiu vs Amer Qureshi

Boxing Daily Report from the Mbun Promotions promoted show at Mashhad Meer, Mashhad,  taking place on 01/04/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran-Razavi Khorasan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cong Tiu (13 - 3 - 2) who hails from Mashhad, Iran and Amer Qureshi(13 - 10 - 2) from Mashhad, Iran.  Tiu weighed in at 125 pounds and 2 ounces, while Qureshi weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Syed Galla, and the three ringside judges are Syed Galla, Umair Shams and Ibrahim Jamal.  

Round 1: 

Tiu is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut.  
Qureshi gets on the inside.  Tiu throws a right hook, but misses the target.  Tiu clinches his opponent.  Tiu is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
