Ryo Osada vs Hikaru Ichikawa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Fumio Sadow Gym, Osaka,  taking place on 02/04/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryo Osada (11 - 7 - 2) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Hikaru Ichikawa(10 - 4 - 2) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Osada and Ichikawa weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Goro Tsuchida, and the three ringside judges are Kyo Kuramoto, Hiroki Tamashiro and Hiroki Watanabe.  

Round 1: 

Ichikawa connects with a left uppercut.  
Osada closes the distance.  Ichikawa digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ichikawa steps away from his opponent.  Ichikawa feints a cross, and then connects with an overhand right.  
Ichikawa steps to the outside.  Osada sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Osada gets on the inside.  Ichikawa digs in a left hook to Osada's liver.  
Osada tries to land a cross, but Ichikawa parries the shot and counters with a right hook.
