Dax Bellaire vs Michael Hastings

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at New City Gas, Montreal,  taking place on 27/03/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dax Bellaire (1 - 0 - 1) who hails from Mississauga, Canada and Michael Hastings(4 - 20 - 5) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Bellaire and Hastings weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicholas Prior, and the three ringside judges are Aramis Duvauchelle, Prewitt Gedeon and Michael Oliver.  

Round 1: 

Bellaire drives a jab into his opponents body.

Hastings advances into close range.  Bellaire lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Bellaire holds on to his opponent.  Bellaire pushes his forearm into Hastings's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bellaire to stop fouling.  
Bellaire is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Bellaire is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a sharp jab.  
Hastings advances into close range.  Bellaire digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  As Bellaire tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hastings dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bellaire steps to the outside.  Bellaire sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.
