Shontae Asiago vs Rehan Fawaz

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa,  taking place on 01/05/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the African Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shontae Asiago (22(10) - 4(4)) who hails from Nakuru, Kenya and Rehan Fawaz(10 - 3) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Asiago and Fawaz weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Kithuka, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Magwanga, Hayden Sakudao and Lewis Muriuki.  

Round 1: 

Asiago drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Asiago drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.

Asiago quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Fawaz throws a right hook, but Asiago holds on to his opponent.  Fawaz pushes his forearm into Asiago's face.  The ref breaks Asiago's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
