Onofre Piedrahita vs Rodrigo Vasquez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Nezahualcoyotl Velasquez, Nezahualcoyotl,  taking place on 05/04/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Mexico State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Onofre Piedrahita (16 - 5) who hails from Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico and Rodrigo Vasquez(14 - 8 - 5) from Ecatepec, Mexico.  Piedrahita weighed in at 126 pounds, while Vasquez weighed in at 125 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jose Montana, and the three ringside judges are Montenegro Trevino, Oleos Laguardia and Juan Zambrano.
