Rudi Laas vs Lukas Kruis

Boxing Daily Report from the Jacob Howes promoted show at Koelnmesse, Cologne,  taking place on 30/04/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rudi Laas (11(6) - 0) who hails from Chemnitz, Germany and Lukas Kruis(7 - 9 - 2) from Dortmund, Germany.  Both Laas and Kruis weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Werner Heitzmann, and the three ringside judges are Rambert Kruis, Roger Achatz and Kristian Krusemark.  

Round 1: 

Laas is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Laas holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Laas pushes his forearm into Kruis's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Laas.  
Laas lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Kruis switches the action to the outside.  Laas lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Laas is looking to close the distance.  Kruis throws a right hook, but Laas clinches his opponent.  Laas pushes his forearm into Kruis's face.  The referee warns Laas and breaks the clinch.

Laas throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Laas pivots to the side of his opponent.  Laas lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Laas clinches his opponent.  Laas throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Laas leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Laas gets on the inside and is on target with a firm left hook to Kruis's body.  
Kruis steps to the outside.  Laas lands an overhand right.  
Laas is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.
