Banji Sobukwe vs Okapi Ametepey

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 12/04/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Southern African Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Banji Sobukwe (17(3) - 2) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Okapi Ametepey(18(1) - 1 - 1) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Sobukwe weighed in at 135 pounds, while Ametepey weighed in at 134 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bernardus Hertzog, and the three ringside judges are Xhosas Kwadwo, Lemme Van der Linde and Mark Van Jaarsveld.
