Ponce Prados vs Alejandro Rita

Boxing Daily Report from the Hansen Promotions promoted show at Quiqui Basilio Gym, Fortaleza,  taking place on 15/03/2027:

Clearly Hansen Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Ceara Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ponce Prados (14 - 5 - 1) who hails from Fortaleza, Brazil and Alejandro Rita(15 - 3 - 1) from Fortaleza, Brazil.  Both Prados and Rita weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Duque, and the three ringside judges are Rico Vara, Diego Silverio and Ximen Souva.  

Round 1: 

Rita closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Prados tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a cross, but Rita slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Prados.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.  
Rita lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rita dabs at his face checking for damage.
