John Matheson vs Dom Ahearne

Boxing Daily Report from the Goofy promoted show at Blackburn Sports & Leisure Centre, Blackburn,  taking place on 15/03/2027:

Clearly Goofy have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Matheson (4 - 5 - 3) who hails from Middlesbrough, UK and Dom Ahearne(8 - 7(1) - 2) from Newcastle, UK.  Both Matheson and Ahearne weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Duffy, and the three ringside judges are Sam McClenny, Kenzie Dredge and Paul McComb.
