Marjun Monica vs Diego Escandon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Spain-Basque Country promoted show at Diego Angulo Gym, Vitoria-Gasteiz,  taking place on 13/04/2027:

Clearly AI Spain-Basque Country have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Basque Country Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marjun Monica (5 - 11) who hails from Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain and Diego Escandon(3 - 6(1) - 4) from Bilbao, Spain.  Both Monica and Escandon weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leonel Marta, and the three ringside judges are Miguel Blancas, Carlos Checo and Montego Balles.  

Round 1: 

Escandon steps away from his opponent.  Escandon feints a right, and then connects with an overhand left.  
Monica forces Escandon to retreat into the red corner.  Escandon lands a left hook.  
Monica pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Escandon lands a right hook.  
Escandon pivots to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Monica lands a left uppercut.
