Verdun Fokou vs Boswell Etoo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cameroon-Nord promoted show at Garoua Virenque, Garoua,  taking place on 15/04/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Verdun Fokou (22 - 2 - 1) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Boswell Etoo(9 - 5 - 2) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Both Fokou and Etoo weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waltier Moreau, and the three ringside judges are Montrose Bourdelle, Senior Binoche and Verity Shaznay.  

Round 1: 

Etoo forces Fokou to back into the ropes.  Etoo goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Fokou time to recover.
