Pedro Melgarejo vs Gig Torres

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Atlantico promoted show at Leonel Bosquez Gym, Barranquilla,  taking place on 15/04/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Atlantico Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pedro Melgarejo (15(1) - 4) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Gig Torres(17 - 9 - 4) from Soledad, Colombia.  Melgarejo weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces, while Torres weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vidal Casillas, and the three ringside judges are Ignado Cobian, Beltran Alvarado and Salvador Sanches.
