Seymour Pique vs Montague Rubel

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Palais de la Culture Anoumabo Hall, Abidjan,  taking place on 17/04/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Seymour Pique (10(2) - 0) who hails from Daloa, Ivory Coast and Montague Rubel(12 - 6(1) - 6) from Douala, Cameroon.  Both Pique and Rubel weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dominique Gracq, and the three ringside judges are Amiens Allore, Gregory de Pizan and Granger Beaucage.

Pique drives a forceful right uppercut into Rubel's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE RUBEL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Rubel recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Pique digs in a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Pique lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND RUBEL IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Pique ties up his opponent.  Pique is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Pique to stop fouling.  
Pique closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
