Kashif Salloum vs Rehman Mahdi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Johor promoted show at Johor Bahru Mustafa, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 17/04/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Commonwealth Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kashif Salloum (12 - 4(1)) who hails from Okpoko, Nigeria and Rehman Mahdi(17(1) - 3 - 1) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Salloum and Mahdi weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Saad Hassan, and the three ringside judges are Haaris Gaber, Saad Hassan and Azam Hamdan.
