Meril Kugel vs Egmont Aldinger

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Berlin promoted show at Kolby Altemose Gym, Berlin,  taking place on 18/04/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Germany-Berlin Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SPORT1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Meril Kugel (10 - 12(1) - 3 - 1(NC)) who hails from Berlin, Germany and Egmont Aldinger(10 - 12 - 4) from Berlin, Germany.  Both Kugel and Aldinger weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lothar Jex, and the three ringside judges are Krischen Plack, Le+¦ Sanders and Taburer Schermer.
