Perttu Varonen vs Raitis Koski

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Uusimaa promoted show at Vantaa Kuosmanen, Vantaa,  taking place on 19/04/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Finland-Uusimaa Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Perttu Varonen (14 - 10(1) - 2) who hails from Vantaa, Finland and Raitis Koski(18 - 2 - 1) from Helsinki, Finland.  Varonen weighed in at 121 pounds and 15 ounces, while Koski weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arvi Vacca, and the three ringside judges are Kaapro Kuusi, Urmas Salo and Heimo Airikkala.  

Round 1: 

Varonen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Koski hits home with an overhand left.

As Koski tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Varonen.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.
