Leon Hedding vs Dave Shives

Boxing Daily Report from the Cpboxing promoted show at Leon Lloyd Gym, Linden,  taking place on 19/04/2027:

Clearly Cpboxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Guyana-North Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Hedding (2 - 1) who hails from Linden, Guyana and Dave Shives(4 - 1) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Both Hedding and Shives weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kris Manderson, and the three ringside judges are Brin Forgie, Robert Binner and Kieran Wales.  

Round 1: 

Shives advances into close range and forces Hedding to retreat onto the ropes.  Shives pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Hedding steps to the outside and lands with a sharp jab.
