Villiers Duchamp vs Lado Atsu

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Wa Sports Stadium, Tamale,  taking place on 24/04/2027:

Clearly African Fusion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Villiers Duchamp (3 - 0) who hails from Bouake, Ivory Coast and Lado Atsu(8 - 6 - 3) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Duchamp weighed in at 112 pounds, while Atsu weighed in at 111 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tamarius Moyoyo, and the three ringside judges are Rich Burja, Rich Burja and Tamarius Moyoyo.  

Round 1: 

Duchamp walks Atsu down, trapping him on the ropes.  Duchamp is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Duchamp holds on to his opponent.  Duchamp pushes his forearm into Atsu's face.  The referee warns Duchamp and breaks the clinch.
