Kei Kubota vs Daiki Hirayama

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kyoto promoted show at Ichiro Tao Gym, Kyoto,  taking place on 22/04/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kyoto Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kei Kubota (7 - 7(1) - 2) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Daiki Hirayama(14 - 2 - 1) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Kubota and Hirayama weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Naoki Kawasaki, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Fujimoto, Naoki Kawasaki and Kenji Fujimoto.  

Round 1: 

Kubota steps inside.  Hirayama throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
