Michael Mauger vs Connor Day

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Missouri promoted show at Kansas City Sunderlin, Kansas City,  taking place on 25/03/2027:

Clearly AI USA-Missouri have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Missouri Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Mauger (6 - 5 - 3) who hails from St. Louis, USA and Connor Day(6 - 9(1) - 2) from Independence, USA.  Both Mauger and Day weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dom Quinn, and the three ringside judges are George Mulloy, Mick Bihl and Callum Johansen.

Day feints a left hook, but Mauger is not fooled and responds with a left uppercut.

As Day tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Mauger has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
