Michael Mwangangi vs Mark Ranguma

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Nairobi Iria, Nairobi,  taking place on 23/04/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Mwangangi (9 - 7 - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Mark Ranguma(3 - 9 - 5) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Mwangangi weighed in at 174 pounds And 14 ounces, while Ranguma weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Mwirichia, and the three ringside judges are Shaun Arusei, Elliot Lumumba and Noah Odoyo.  

Round 1: 

Mwangangi steps inside and lands a left hook.  Mwangangi throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mwangangi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.

Ranguma pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mwangangi drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Ranguma pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.

Ranguma tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Mwangangi is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into Ranguma's ribcage.
