Andy Mewies vs Mervyn Crowe

Boxing Daily Report from the Jon Crosby promoted show at David Ajiborisha Gym, London,  taking place on 24/04/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Andy Mewies (6 - 7 - 2) who hails from London, UK and Mervyn Crowe(6 - 0) from Southampton, UK.  Both Mewies and Crowe weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joey Weir, and the three ringside judges are Amon Arthur, Cole Beirne and William Drummond.  

Round 1: 

Mewies advances into close range.  Crowe pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Crowe is on target with a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Crowe dabs at his face checking for damage.
