Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Ian Salmond Gym, Christchurch,  taking place on 27/03/2027:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Canterbury have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richard Peraniko (5 - 9 - 4) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Paul Loar(8 - 4 - 1) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Peraniko and Loar weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Fergerson, and the three ringside judges are Kahorere Keno, Dave Sprouse and Ewan Roxburgh.  

Round 1: 

Loar closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
