Sammy Wight vs Fidel Cara

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 05/06/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the WRBO Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sammy The Brisbane Bomber Wight (26(16) - 1) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Fidel Cara(31(29) - 1(1)) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Both Wight and Cara weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Duffy, and the three ringside judges are Barry Forbes, James Westwood and John Wark.

Wight knows Cara is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Wight lands a FIERCE right hook.  DOWN GOES CARA!  He manages to get up at 6.  Cara now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Cara lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.
