Goga Kauls vs Izaak Alpers

Boxing Daily Report from the TW Promotions promoted show at Ballerup Super Arena, Copenhagen,  taking place on 15/05/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV 2 Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Goga Kauls (22(2) - 3(3) - 1) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Izaak Alpers(15 - 5 - 4) from Hanover, Germany.  Both Kauls and Alpers weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wray Hustedt, and the three ringside judges are Karr Sund, Viggo Knudsvig and Ulster Fabricius.  

Round 1: 

Alpers gets on the inside.  Kauls sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Alpers closes the distance.  Kauls lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Kauls holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kauls pushes his forearm into Alpers's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
