Oscar Hunua vs George Nimmo

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 29/05/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the WRBO Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Oscar Toa Hunua (29(25) - 0) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and George Nimmo(23(1) - 3(2)) from Manchester, UK.  Both Hunua and Nimmo weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Giorgio Lombardo, and the three ringside judges are Giorgio Lombardo, Brendan Moultrie and John Wark.
